We set off at 6am (because Noni and D Crow slept through their alarm) and headed back to Minneapolis for the sharp end of the trip. Along the way we crossed the great Mississippi  River – not the best shot but we know we were there…

after a loooong day of setting up (sorry didnt get any before shots this time) we finally found our motel room for the night at 9pm to be told they had sold it!!! arrrggghhh, exhausted, on the other side of the world and no room at the inn. Eventually they found us a room at the Hilton and we dragged ourselves and cases over there for the night to be greeted with this view from our window.

early next morning we headed back to the convention centre to complete our setup and four schoohouse sessions between us.

It is always difficult to make a nice booth from suitcases but with the help of  Twyla and some other nice people around us this was our final result..

Our schoolhouses went really well with packed or nearly packed rooms and lots of positive feedback. Some familiar faces visited, some blog friends said hi and some old friends reunited. With a final rush to Sample spree to fill our bags tomorrow we had to sell so we could get it home…

until the next instalment..
