Presencia Finca Threads #16 thread 1227 Sunshine yellow

Mouline Special Finca (Stranded Cotton) 100% Mercerized Cotton. This thread is excellent for stitching on all types of fabric. Colors are 100% colorfast and fade resistant. Its 6 separated strands allow you to adapt the thickness of your stitching by using different numbers of strands.100% extra-long staple Egyptian Cotton, mercerized for strength, colorfast, bleachfast* and shrinkfast. There are a total of 321 colors available for all types of hand stitchery including embroidery, cross-stitch, needlepoint, petit point, Hardanger, Swedish/huck weaving and more.  We stock many of them.

Charts for DMC and Anchor floss numbers make color substitution easy and accurate to original designs.

Finca Perlé is the most robust perlé cotton line in the world with 123 solid colors and 33 variegated colors, more than any other line. As with other Presencia stranded threads, Finca Perlé is 100% long staple Egyptian cotton, mercerized for strength, colorfast, bleachfast* and shrinkfast.

We are currently stocking  our favourite Perle #16 which is equivalent to 1 1/2 strands of stranded thread and is used widely in all Hugs 'n Kisses patterns in 5 gram balls or as part of the Thread of the Month club. These threads can also be used in a sewing machine.

*All colors are bleachfast except five: 1163, 1166, 3802, 3810, & 3822. These colors are colorfast and runfast.

FYI: The stranded cotton has 6 strands of 8mtrs (48mtrs total) each, the 5gm Perle 16 has 71.43 mtrs and the 10gm Perle 16 has 142.86 mtrs. We are running out our 10 gram balls and as such are not listing them here on the website.
