And then we arrived in Trondheim where we were promised some snow! First to Siw’s shop – Quiltegaarden which was just beautiful (see Merete there in the wool shop – she met us at the airport, she’d come up from Oslo to share the weekend with us)

a very quick tour of the city centre before a Quilt Cafe and then trunk show at night in Heimdal.

Followed by a wonderful weekend of stitching and some great Show and tell.

We met face to face with many familiar names and friends, May Kristin, Ragnild, Anne Heidi and more… so nice to put a real face to the blog or facebook name..and we felt so welcomed into their lives.

Now, I did say we were promised snow – and by the end of the weekend they just wanted us to go away I am sure – I believe it hasn't stopped since we left either… so much fun was had by Gail and I learning about living with snow… we were like two little kids I am sure, stomping in ice puddles, making snowmen and snowangels..

Like all of our other teaching days it was just wonderful to be able to share with like minded people, no matter the language, the traditions or the weather!

being a two day workshop many projects were finished or close to… and many we have seen are being finished since we left – this is a nice feeling – not too many UFO’s added to the pile..

of course my final task was to build a snowman – not too big, but a snowman nonetheless..thanks girls for your assistance…
