Over the weekend at The Australian Quilt Market Gail Pan and I had the pleasure of finalising details for a wonderful, not to be missed event in Tasmania next year..

We have pleasure in announcing

A Stitching Affair  -  a totally indulgent stitching retreat and Tassie experience in the Highlands of Tasmania.

We will spoil you from the minute we meet until the hour we tearfully wave you goodbye. 4-5 star accommodation options – Tantalising Tasmanian fare, the wilds of the highlands – mists, wildlife and forests – in the comfort of wood fires, central heating, warm friends and warm thoughts.

You will have access to Gail and I for three days, we will stitch and make at least six new projects – with all requirements supplied, learn new techniques, share inspiration and totally spoil yourself.

You can even add a spa treatment or cocktail to the menu..

All details including pricing and registration can be found on our blog at http://hugsnkisses.typepad.com/astitchingaffair/

Numbers are strictly limited so don’t think about it for too long. This will be an intimate retreat – you will get lots of personal attention and help with your stitching.

If you have a group of friends, all come and we can organise you to stay together. If you’d like to come for an extended holiday we will be adding Quilt shop tour information and other great Tassie tourism options to the site soon. There are so many great things for the family to do whilst you treat yourself to a couple of days of ‘me time’.

Note: this is a long weekend in Tasmania and many other states. We have left the Monday free for you to travel home to begin work Tuesday.

The Retreat cost includes:

Coach transfer from Hobart to Tarraleah return.

All meals inc: Breakfast, Morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner, supper

Six fully kitted projects

4 or 5 star accommodation

Other goodies and surprises – you won’t be disappointed
